20世纪60年代,百色城仅有澄碧大桥和百林大桥。旧百林大桥桥宽、结构性能及桥下通航净空均难以满足目前交通快速发展的要求,于2010年8月5日实施爆破拆除,结束了它41年的旧使命,其后在旧址上建设新的百林大桥。随着改革开放的深入,城区的跨江大桥已发展到7座,澄碧和百林两桥重新改建,新建的还有右江大桥、那毕大桥、拉域大桥、竹洲大桥和东合大桥,使百色城向外辐射的陆上交通十分便利。
