Guangzhou Zhujiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. is a large-scale coal-fired power generation company jointly established by Guangzhou City and Hong Kong New World Development Co., Ltd. It was registered by the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade and registered with the Guangzhou Administration for Industry and Commerce. It was officially established on the 1st of the month. Guangzhou Pearl River Power Co., Ltd. is mainly responsible for the power production and operation management of the 2×300,000 kilowatts of the first phase of the Guangzhou Pearl River Power Plant; the total investment is 2.072 billion yuan; the annual power generation is 3.3 billion kilowatts.
