彭西春,男,1964年6月生于河南淮阳,1983年9月入河南大学美术系学习,1987年7月毕业留校任教,美术学专业中国画方向硕士研究生毕业,2007年9月至2008年9月入中央美术学院中国画学院胡伟工作室做访问学者一年。现为河南大学艺术学院副院长、教授,河南省美术家协会会员,河南省国画家协会常务理事,河南省书画院特聘画家兼学术委员会委员,河南省教育界书画家协会副秘书长。主要作品:《调虎离山》入选第九届全国美术作品展,并获河南省第九届美展金奖;《绿荫》入选纪念毛泽东《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表60周年全国美展;《山外的天》入选第二届全国中国人物画展,并获河南省第十届美展银奖;《人物》获河南省首届中国画艺术展金奖;《夏至》入选第三届奥林匹克文化节百名青年艺术家邀请展;另有多幅作品被国内外收藏家收藏。
Peng Xichun, male, born in June 1964 in Huaiyang, Henan Province, studied at the Fine Arts Department of Henan University in September 1983, and graduated from July 1987 to work as a teacher. He graduated as a master of Fine Arts major in traditional Chinese painting. From September 2007 to 2008 In September of the year, he entered the China Academy of Art Central Academy of Fine Arts Hu Wei studio as a visiting scholar for one year. Now he is the vice president and professor of Art Institute of Henan University, a member of Henan Artists Association, standing director of Henan Chinese Painters’ Association, a distinguished painter and academic committee of Henan Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and a deputy secretary general of Henan Painting and Calligraphy Association of Education. Major works: “Tiaoluishan” selected for the Ninth National Art Exhibition, and the 9th Art Exhibition in Henan Province Gold Award; “Greens” was selected to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Mao Zedong’s “speech at the Yanan Forum on Literature and Art” published the National Art Exhibition; Outside the sky “was selected for the second session of the National Exhibition of Chinese characters and was awarded the silver medal of the Tenth National Art Exhibition in Henan Province;” People “was awarded the first gold medal in the art exhibition of Chinese painting in Henan Province;” Summer Solstice "was selected for the invitation of 100 young artists of the Third Olympic Culture Festival Exhibition; another number of works by collectors at home and abroad.
