武汉重型机床厂是中国制造重型机床、数控重型机床和超重型机床的骨干企业。建厂近40年,已生产出立式车床、卧式车床、铣镗床、龙门镗铣床、齿轮加工机床、轧辊磨床、龙门刨床、回转工作台、各类专用机床及锻压设备等近万台,除满足国内各行业的需求外,还远销到世界20多个国家与地区。 目前CK52系列已发展到5个品种;C52系列已经展到16个品种,最大加工直径从3.5m到12.5m,门类规格十分齐全。特别是CK5240A四米数控双柱立车,于1988年11月经国家质量奖审查委员会批准,荣获金质奖章;
