初中思想品德课是义务教育阶段的一门基础课程,设置的目的在于激发学生的爱国主义情感,养成健康的心理与人格,形成正确的世界观、人生观与价值观。思想品德课程中涉及很多学生第一次接触到的理论与概念,有的还非常抽象,学生理解起来有一定的难度。思想品德教学内容的抽象性特点,可能会导致学生在学习过程中的排斥、厌学情绪,将很难达到预定的教学目标。如何消除学生因知识抽象而导致的厌学情绪呢?创设情境,运用情境教学法不失为一种有效的方法,并且在教学实践中也得到了证明,效果相当明显。情境教学法就是根据教学内容创设一定的情境,让学生置身其中,由学生主动参与、体验、思维、得出结论的一种教学方法。
