转基因食品标识法律制度的建立不仅有利于国家对应用转基因技术所带来的风险进行管控,同时也有利于消费者知情权的保护。目前世界上已经有很多国家都制定了系统的转基因食品标识法律制度,我国在这一领域的立法尚处于滞后阶段。作为我国的农业大省,河北省在利用转基因技术领域已经有所成就。在转基因食品标识法律制度建设方面,河北省可以发挥地方立法的积极性和灵活性而有所作为。
The establishment of the legal system of GMO labeling not only helps the country to control the risks brought by the application of GMO technology, but also helps to protect the consumers’ right to information. At present, many countries in the world have formulated a systematic legal system for the labeling of genetically modified foods. Our country’s legislation in this field is still in a lagging phase. As a big agricultural province in China, Hebei Province has made some achievements in the field of utilizing transgenic technologies. In terms of the legal system of labeling of genetically modified foods, Hebei Province can make its due contribution to the initiative and flexibility of local legislation.
