历史的长河中,阆中木雕发展成了一个极具代表性的民俗文化,是西南地区的地域宝藏,其艺术价值不可估量,亦是当下地域所缺乏的文化灵气。随着文明的发展,阆中木雕逐渐演变成了具有地域特色的文化艺术。正是这慢慢积攒下来深厚的文化底蕴,让我们仿佛通过这些木雕,就可以看见这座古城中灿烂的文化历史;但也正是发展的步伐,珍贵木雕正处于一种濒危的状态中,而我们能够做的,是以最大的可能,妥善的保护好稀珍木雕的幸存部分,尽最大限度的传承下去,最大限度的发挥她的价值。
