小高炉由于其炉缸小、热容量小、热损失大,加之所用原料一般较差,监测仪器和管理方法比较落后,因此炉况波动大,冶炼制钢生铁时容易出现炉冷,威胁生铁质量。如何用小高炉生产炼钢铁,各兄弟厂创造了很好的经验。我厂自炼钢恢复生产以来,各高炉曾多次冶炼制钢生铁,虽积累了一些经验,但是,炼钢生铁的质量并不令人满意,最突出的问题是含硅高。如何在保证其它元素合格的情况下降低生铁含硅量,这是冶炼制钢生铁水平高低的集中表现。根据78年10月,我厂二号高炉冶炼制钢生铁与一号高炉冶炼铸造生铁的对比计算知道,生铁含硅量降低1%,焦比下降71.5公斤。

According to the comparison calculation of No. 2 blast furnace smelting steel pig iron and No. 1 blast furnace smelting foundry pig iron in October 78th, we know that the silicon content of pig iron is reduced by 1% and the coke ratio is reduced by 71.5 kg.
