On November 29, 2016, the German private team “Part-time Scientists ” announced that it has signed a launch contract and plans to bring two lunar rover vehicles to the moon in 2017. The German carmaker Audi is a major sponsor of the “Amateur Scientist” team and supports the team’s improvement of the lunar rover.
