To clean up the heritage of Eurocentrism during the process of reconsidering the modernity does not mean turning itself into a position of other local centralism but should start from the historical role of Eurasia in the formation and development of modernity. It is from this perspective that the current global situation does not simply result from the development of the early stages of modernity - the European-led modernity - but from the results of the engagement in Asia and elsewhere, and in particular, The one-stage modernity directly raises the demand of denying previous inheritance on the basis of diversity and distinctive modernity. In this sense, it is of greater significance to use “global modernity” to describe the current situation. Through the reflection on the historical narration of the existing modernity, this paper puts forward the theoretical space and the boundary of reexamining modernity from the perspective of Eurasia.
