在纽约中医界,提起王守东这个名字,很多中医医生会变脸失色。2000年8月,王守东因涉嫌无照行医等罪名遭到了逮捕。美国是个案例法的国家,假如王守东被判无照行医,此案一旦成立,以后所有的中医都将被禁止行医,这对于全美中医药界来说将是致命的打击,中医在美国将永无出头之日。好在2003年1月13日,王守东一案悄悄打上句号,他除了对雇佣没有职业资格的人承担一定的责任外,并没有被判以其他罪名。美国法律
In New York Chinese medicine practitioners, the name of Wang Shoudong was mentioned. Many Chinese medicine practitioners will turn pale. In August 2000, Wang Shoudong was arrested on charges of unlicensed practice.
