英语课程标准明确指出“高中英语课程应强调在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力……”。但在实际教学中,汉语和英语句子构造特点的巨大差异导致了学生在学习英语语言的过程中困难重重,汉语思维对他们理解英语文章,尤其是分析理解长难句生了极大的困扰。实现提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力的目标可谓任重道远。
The standard of English curriculum clearly states: “The high school English curriculum should emphasize that on the basis of further developing the students’ ability of using comprehensive language, the emphasis should be placed on improving students’ ability to acquire information, process information, analyze problems and solve problems in English, with particular emphasis on improving students’ ability to use English Ability to think and express ... ”. However, in the actual teaching, the huge differences between Chinese and English sentences cause the students to have difficulty in learning English language. Chinese thinking has greatly disturbed them in understanding English articles, especially in analyzing and understanding long sentences. The goal of improving students’ abilities to think and express in English is a long way to go.
