一1995年6月1日,对于山西省临县雷家碛乡雷家碛村惠民小学的100多位学生来说,是一个值得庆贺的日子。这天,由国家民政部60多位干部、职工捐助的77位穷学生走进了新落成的学校。从此,雷家碛村没有一个失学儿童,这在山西临县是一个奇迹。这奇迹源于当地人民尊师重教的淳朴民风,来自于民政部机关团委的“手拉手”活动,更融进了民政部机关近百位公务员对山里娃那浓
On June 1, 1995, it was a celebration day for more than 100 students from Lei Jiaqi Village Huimin Primary School, Lei Jiaqi Township, Linxian County, Shanxi Province. On this day, 77 poor students who were donated by over 60 cadres and workers from the State Ministry of Civil Affairs went into newly-formed schools. Since then, Lei Jiaqi village does not have a child out of school, which is a miracle in Shanxi Linxian. This miracle stems from the honest people of the local people respecting teachers and educating people and comes from the hand in hand activities of the organs and committees of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It also integrates with nearly one hundred civil servants in the organs of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
