《白蛇传》是一个流传久远的优秀的传統剧目。許多戏曲剧种都經常演出.虽然故事情节的发展大体相同,但不同剧种之間还可見出其差异,具有自己的一些特色,像川剧的《扯符吊打》,揚剧的《上金山》,就是其中的例子。前不久看到福建泉州高甲戏剧团整理演出的传統剧目《許仙說謝》,使人又感到新穎独特,别具一格。据了解《許仙說謝》不是从本戏中抽出来的,高甲戏沒有全本《白蛇传》,只保留这一折戏。从剧本的故事发展过程看来,这折戏的情节是在《盜庫》之后,《酒变》之前。
