在党的基层组织和党员中深入开展创先争优活动,是党的十七大和十七届四中全会提出的一项重要任务,也是巩固和拓展深入学习实践科学发展观活动成果的重要举措。组织实施这项活动,对于进一步抓好学习实践活动整改落实工作、激发各级党组织和广大党员的生机活力、推动党的建设更好地服务党和国家工作大局,具有十分重要的意义。要使创先争优活动取得实效,关键是要与实际工作紧密结合,这既是中央的明确要求,也是活动开展的实际需要。
