当黄静远将自己的作品命名为《C城的那些事》,C这个字母在她的构想中所关联的应该是China或Confucius(孔子)这样的词——事实上它的英文命名就是Gossip from Confucius City。不过在我看来,C作为一个地地道道的英文字母,却还有着汉字不可替代的象形作用,它看上去就像一弯月亮,表征着某种残缺、虚幻和不确定,如同当代中国现实的剪影。《C城的那些事》是黄静远完成于2011—2012年的系列创作,这套作品以超写实的手法绘制了一幅幅乍看之下令人目眩的盛世图景,
