揚剧《东方钟声》(华联揚剧团演出,曹靜卿編剧,陆永庭导演),是今年上海戏曲現代剧的創作之一。它通过上海鉄路工人在1927年的武装暴动,侧面反映了第三次武装起义中,上海工人阶級英勇頑强的革命精神。要把如此一个意义重大、事件繁复、人物众多的历史事件,形象地重現于舞台,确实是一件頗不輕易的工作。《东方钟声》在这个工作上得到了不少可喜的收获。
The “Oriental Bells” (performance by Hualian Yang Theater, director Cao Jingqing and director Lu Yong Ting) is one of the creations of modern dramas in Shanghai opera this year. It adopted the arms riots of workers on Shanghai Kushiro Road in 1927, and reflected the revolutionary spirit of the heroic and tenacious spirit of the working class in Shanghai during the third armed uprising. To vividly reproduce such a historical event of great significance, complex events and numerous personal figures is indeed a rather difficult task. “Oriental bells” in this work has been a lot of gratifying gains.
