采用皂土吸附模拟废水中的甲基红,出现明显的吸附剂浓度效应,同时发现一种新型吸附等温线。在低浓度时,吸附量随平衡浓度呈上升趋势;当浓度超过一定值后,吸附量随平衡浓度呈下降趋势。用Langmuir方程对吸附等温线低浓度部分进行拟合,发现在给定吸附剂浓度下,符合Langmuir方程,但此方程不能解释吸附剂浓度效应。结合表面组分活度(SCA)方程对实验数据进行拟合,发现LangmuirSCA等温方程可以描述吸附剂浓度效应。
Adsorption of methyl red in simulated wastewater by bentonite shows obvious effect of adsorbent concentration, and a new type of adsorption isotherm has been found. At low concentration, the amount of adsorption increased with the equilibrium concentration; when the concentration exceeded a certain value, the amount of adsorption decreased with the equilibrium concentration. The Langmuir equation was used to fit the low concentration part of the adsorption isotherm. It was found that the Langmuir equation fitted the Langmuir equation for a given concentration of sorbent but this equation did not explain the sorbent concentration effect. The experimental data were fitted by the SCA equation. It was found that Langmuir-SCA isothermal equation could describe the effect of adsorbent concentration.
