我们怀着无限悲痛,送别了敬爱的厉矞华同志。她在漫长的人生历程上走完了91个春秋的最后一步,坦然安祥地离开了我们。她的一生是奉献的一生、是五彩斑澜的一生、是值得人们学习的一生。一片丹心报祖国厉矞华同志亲历了20世纪新旧中国的全过程,91个春秋的风风雨雨,使她深深悟出了一个真理,只有中国共产党、社会主义能够救中国。有一次,她在讨论会上满怀激情地说:“我这个快70岁的老人,前半生是旧社会过来的,从小就立下献身医学事业、科学救国的志愿。从北京大学医学院毕业后,决心赴日本帝国大学医学部攻读研究生。可是日本军国主义大肆反华,处处凌辱中国同胞,我对他们的歧视实在不能忍受,毅然终止学业回国,并投入了抗日救国运动……”新中国成立以后,党和人民政府把广大人民群众的健康事业摆在了十分重要的位置上,兴医办学。此刻,厉矞华才深感自己有了用武之地,她报效祖国和人民的时刻来到了。为了国人能摘掉“东亚病夫”的
