广西书画院是广西壮族自治区党委宣传部主管和直接领导的艺术机构,是集创作、研究、收藏、展览、交流为一体的公益性事业单位,是广西唯一的省级国办书画院,内设书法、中国画、油画等创作研究部门。书画院坚持“学术立院”的宗旨,继承和弘扬中国传统文化,聚集广西美术界精英,具有广西书画群体创作最高水平。广西书画院的建立,对广西美术的发展、产西文化的建设而言,发生了巨大的变化:
Guangxi Painting and Calligraphy Institute is the director of propaganda department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Party Committee and an art institution directly under the leadership of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a public welfare institution integrating creation, research, collection, exhibition and exchange. It is the only provincial-level state-owned painting and calligraphy academy in Guangxi. Calligraphy, Chinese painting, painting and other creative research department. Painting and Calligraphy Institute adheres to the principle of “establishing academic institutes”, inherits and carries forward Chinese traditional culture, collects the elites in Guangxi’s fine arts, and possesses the highest level of Guangxi calligraphy and painting groups.
