After the Aalto this generation of Finnish architects did not bid farewell to 60 years of traditional modernism. Some of their new works are both mature and self-confident and deserve to be given greater attention. A chapel complex designed by the architect Raviska on the outskirts of Helsinki follows the long tradition of Finnish community gatherings as religious and secular activities. As it was located near the train station, the complex turned in the direction of the train station. He used a long wall and the railway to build it in parallel. This wall was supported by a series of buttresses and allowed a natural light to suddenly shoot.
