现有网络运营公司面临一个任务就是改造现有网管系统,以适应基于电信管理网(TMN)的现代网管环境,并且应能灵活、机动地顺应公司业务程式的变动.TMN有助于完成这些工作,问题在于如何在现有网络中最佳地引入TMN.德国电信公司制定了一系列战略,将传输和交换网的管理功能过渡到共同的TMN平台结构上.传输网方面采取的方法是在最初阶段引入对SDH设备的试验型管理功能,然后引入支持外部系统的增强型服务,最后由TMN管理系统代替现有PDH管理系统.文章将对这一发展作一评价,使读者对德国电信公司采用TMN方法对运营支持系统带来的影响有所认识.
Existing network operators face the task of adapting existing network management systems to adapt to modern network management environments based on the Telecom Management Network (TMN) and should be able to adapt flexibly and maneuvering to changes in the company’s business processes.TMN helps accomplish these tasks , The question is how best to introduce TMN into existing networks.
