Eosestheria is the most common type of crustacean in the famous Jehol Biota. Its morphological, shell-flap structure and fine ornamentation characteristics have been exhaustively studied. However, there is no report about its structure. Described in this article, Lingyuan oriental leaf bud (Eosestheria lingyuanensis) was collected from Jianshangcun Village, Beipiao City, Liaoning Province, and was produced in Jianshanggou interlayer of Yixian Formation in Lower Cretaceous. These software structures include: head shape, eyes, closed muscular marks, male hand grip, body section, digestive tract and tail section. Compared with the morphogenesis of the exophytic mesenchyme, it shows that it is most closely related to the representative of the clam shell family Aristolochiaceae. Therefore, it provides a valuable basis for exploring the evolutionary relationship between fossils and exocarp agents and establishing a higher level of uniform classification.
