世界地震工程会议是国际上地震工程学科的最高水平的学术会议,每四年举行一次,第一届会议于1956年在美国旧金山召开,第二届至第八届先后在日本、新西兰、智利、意大利、印度、土耳其、美国等国召开。第九届世界地震工程会议于1988年8月2日至9日在日本东京和京都举行。参加这届盛会的有来自54个国家和地区的1873名代表,其中日本代表约占2/3,我国有74人参加会议(其中包括台湾省代表19名),在各国参加人数中居第
Earthquake Engineering Conference is the world’s highest level of earthquake engineering academic conference held once every four years, the first session was held in San Francisco in 1956, the second to the eighth successively in Japan, New Zealand, Chile, Italy, India, Turkey, the United States and other countries held. The 9th World Seismic Engineering Conference was held in Tokyo, Japan and Kyoto from August 2 to 9, 1988. There were 1873 delegates from 54 countries and regions attending the event, of which about 2/3 were from Japan and 74 were from our country (including 19 delegates from Taiwan Province), ranking among the participants in all countries
