朱市长最爱听的是王二爷讲的故事,一听就是二十年。二十年前,朱市长还是朱镇长的时候,被安排到一个偏僻荒远的小镇任镇长,这个小镇以前是贩盐道上的必经之路,街面上全是木板房,地上铺的是青石板,非常繁华。后来,有了公路,公路改道,小镇便荒芜了,成了偏僻的一隅。到了晚上,连电视都没有看的,朱镇长只好在小镇上闲逛。遇见一群人端着茶水,带着板凳,聚在街上闲聊。朱镇长走近一看,是集镇上的人在听王二爷讲故事。朱镇长也找了把椅子,坐着听了起来。
