取士之道,古难两全,知人不易,用人更难。有两个小故事,听来让人很受启发。一是据史料记载,清代有个叫杨时斋的将领,很善于用兵。在他看来,哪怕是残疾士卒,照样大有用武之地。耳聋的可安排为侍从,以避免泄露军机;哑巴可为长官传送书信密件,即便被俘也问不清底细;瘸腿可让其守护炮台,必坚守无疑;眼瞎的带到前沿听动静,更比常人耳朵灵……如此“短”中取“长”,自然人人都有用武之地。
