十月二日,中國保衛世界和平大會在人民的首都北京開幕了。十月五日,中蘇友好協會總會成立。參加這兩個大會的,有蘇聯文化藝術科学工作者代表团,朝鲜人民共和圜的代表团,以及意大利人民代表、意共中央委員斯巴諾。這兩個大會,緊接在中華人民共和國開國盛典以後,是有重大的歷史意義和國際意義的。四萬萬七千五百萬站了起来的中國人民决心為保衛世界和平而奮鬥,這是何等偉大的力量,而四萬萬七千五百萬人民在共產黨領導之下,與二萬萬蘇維埃人民親密携手,聯合着全世界所有的民主和平力量,團結一致,以反抗帝国主義侵略集團,這樣的陣营,在歷史上是空
