In the holistic research on the flow of trendy novels, the mode of power relations is an inseparable point of view. Any group of people in the text who make connections through social relations will inevitably fall into the system of “power relations” developed by Foucault, such as the relationship between father and son and the relationship between colleagues. The trendsetting writers expose us the subtle operation of power and the influence on the interrelationship among the characters under the condition of the unified value identity, and thus reflect their exact existence of critical consciousness.
