10月3日,国际钢铁协会第38届会员大会召开,中国钢铁工业协会和宝钢集团公司、鞍钢集团公司、武钢集团公司、首钢集团公司、邯钢集团公司正式被国际钢铁协会接纳为会员。正如吴溪淳会长在大会上的发言所指出的,中国钢铁工业的发展离不开世界,世界钢铁业的繁荣也需要中国。中国加入国际钢铁协会,无论对于中国钢铁工业今后的发展,还是对全世界钢铁工业的发展都具有重要的意义。本刊在此整理刊发会上国际钢铁协会主席和秘书长的发言,以飨读者。
On October 3, the 38th member conference of the International Iron and Steel Association was held. China Iron and Steel Association and Baosteel Group Corporation, Ansteel Group Corporation, WISCO Group Company, Shougang Group Company and Handan Iron and Steel Group Company were officially accepted as members by the International Iron and Steel Association. As President Wu Xichun pointed out in his speech at the conference, the development of China’s steel industry can not be separated from the world. The prosperity of the world’s steel industry also needs China. China’s accession to the International Iron and Steel Association is of great significance both for the future development of the Chinese steel industry and for the development of the steel industry in the world.
