截至2002年底,我国高速公路通车里程已达2.52万公里,已成为我国公路交通运输的主动脉。但是,随着里程数的增加,发生在高速公路上的交通事故也越来越多,高速公路事故增幅和在全部道路交通事故中的比重也呈逐年增加态势,交通安全形势日趋严峻。为探寻高速公路交通事故多发的原因,记者对京(北京)石(石家庄)高速公路全段、石(石家庄)太(太原)和保(保定)津(天津)高速公路的部分路段,进行了实地察看并随机在交通民警、驾驶员及公路管理部门人员中间进行了采访。现将了解到的情况以及我们的看法发表,以期抛砖引玉,引起各界的关注。
By the end of 2002, the mileage of expressways in our country has reached 25,200 km and has become the aorta of China’s road transport. However, as mileage increases, more and more traffic accidents occur on the expressway. The increase in expressway accidents and the proportion in all road accidents have also been increasing year by year. The traffic safety situation is becoming more and more serious. In order to find out the causes of the frequent highway accidents, the reporters conducted some sections of the entire section of Beijing (Shijiazhuang) Shijiazhuang Expressway, Shijiazhuang Tai (Taiyuan) and Bao (Baoding) Tianjin (Tianjin) expressways Field inspection and random traffic police, drivers and highway management personnel conducted interviews. Now I understand the situation and our opinion is published, with a view to start a discussion, aroused the attention of all walks of life.
