In this case, the city of Amandu in western France, originally a monastery of Saint Lazare, was rebuilt into a four-star hotel by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku of Jouin Manku Architects. The hotel project has become part of the “Contemporary Fbntevraud” program, which offers a wide range of perspectives from cultural vitality to sustainable development or from digital innovation to hospitality. The transformation, the designer uses inclusive contemporary design language, the project elegantly blend in with the original details of the old building, and strive to promote a monastic spirit in the digital age, do not let it be like a soul lost
