人物简介:张桂光,广东南海人,1948年生于广州。师从著名古文学家容庚、商承祚,获文学硕士学位。现为华南师范大学文学院教授、博士生导师,广东省书法家协会主席。张桂光一辈子都在与“文字”打交道。他书写书法,碑帖兼容,五体兼工,尤以金文、行草、小楷见长,在中国书法界享有盛誉;他研习古文字,成绩卓越,涉足甲骨、金文、战国文字研究,对古文字形体讹变的研究,被誉为“古文字研究中的一项新成就”。
