马钢为了综合利用其矿山的含铁尾矿,将其用少量钠基改性剂活化并与膨润土桥联构成改性添加剂。在实验室试验及竖炉投笼试验的基础上,确定了竖炉工业试验所用改性添加剂的配方。红外光谱分析表明,该改性添加剂与膨润土相类似,可以用作铁矿球团的造球粘结剂。使用含铁尾矿改性添加剂的竖炉球团工业试验表明:在原料润磨比例为36%,改性添加剂配比为2.43%的条件下,生球质量与膨润土配比为2.0%时相近;基准期与试验Ⅰ期、试验Ⅱ期竖炉主要操作参数变化不大,成品球物理性能变化较小,试验Ⅰ期、Ⅱ期的成品球品位分别较基准期高0.24和0.13个百分点。在润磨比例相近的条件下,竖炉配加含铁细泥尾矿改性添加剂替代膨润土生产球团是可行的。
Masteel in order to comprehensively use its iron ore tailings, it will be activated with a small amount of sodium-based modifier and bridged with bentonite to form a modified additive. Based on the laboratory tests and the cage furnace tests, the formulation of the modified additives for the shaft furnace industry test was determined. Infrared spectrum analysis shows that the modified additive is similar to bentonite and can be used as pelletizing binder for iron ore pellets. The industrial test of shaft furnace pellets using modified tailings containing iron tailings showed that the quality of green pellets was similar to that of bentonite at 2.0% under the condition of 36% raw material grinding and 2.43% modified additive, ; The base period and the first test period, the main operation parameters of the shaft furnace in the second test period did not change much, and the physical properties of the finished ball changed little. The finished ball grades of the first and the second test period were respectively 0.24 and 0.13 percentage points higher than the reference period. In the condition of similar wet milling, the shaft furnace with iron-containing fine mud tailings modified additive instead of bentonite pellets is feasible.
