市售的馬兜鈴是馬兜鈴科植物Aristolchia debilisS.et Z.或A.contorta Bunge,或其近似种的果实。前者通称南馬兜鈴,后者通称北馬兜鈴。因为形狀像馬頸下悬掛的銅鈴,故名;药店中常簡称为兜鈴或斗令。这种植物除果实外,根和莖也入药用;根名土青木香,莖名天仙藤(四川有一种天仙藤者,是旋花科植物的莖)。我国华北、山东、安徽、江苏、浙江、江西、湖南、湖北等省都有生長。药店所售的馬兜鈴大多是真品,但近年来在少数地区也曾發現有把大花百合或百合一类
Commercially available Aristolochia is a fruit of the Aristolochia family Aristolchia debilis S. et Z. or A. contorta Bunge, or similar species thereof. The former is commonly known as South Bartlett, while the latter is commonly known as Northern Birthwort. Because it is shaped like a copper bell hanging under a horse’s neck, it is named; it is often referred to simply as a bell or bucket order at a pharmacy. In addition to fruit, this plant also has its roots and stems used for medicinal purposes; the root name is Ayurveda, and the stem is called Tianxian vine. (Sichuan has a kind of angelic vine, which is the stem of a convolvulaceae plant). China has growth in North China, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei and other provinces. Most of the aristoloches sold in pharmacies are authentic, but in recent years, there have been found in a few areas that there is a large lily or lily.
