文化部艺术服务中心中国美术创作研究基地,是在贯彻党的十七大关于大力发展文化产业、繁荣文化市场的战略任务,落实国务院《文化产业振兴规划》积极吸收社会资本进入文化产业领域的要求,依托我中心业已形成的“当代中国画学术论坛”、“中国美术大事记”等专业学术品牌的基础上,以产业化、专业化、规模化和可持续发展的战略目标,建立的全国连锁加盟合作产业服务机构。基地的主要任务,是团结不同地域、不同艺术主张的老中青美术家,整合全国各地美术学术资源,挖掘选拔培养中青年美术人才,专业从事国油版雕等画科的艺术创作、理论研究、学术讲习和美术学术展览。文化部艺术服务中心中国美术创作研究基地,聘请中国美术界专业权威人士组成专家委员会,实行任期制,每届任期五年。
