美国最大的半导体制造厂Motorola公司,在叫作88000三片微处理机中蚀刻了170万个三极管。它有希望成为下一代高性能计算机中的标准组件。Motorola副总裁说“这是计算机世界中下一个主战场。”
Motorola, the largest semiconductor maker in the United States, etched 1.7 million transistors in a three-chip microprocessor called 88000. It promises to be the standard component in next-generation high-performance computers. Motorola vice president said “This is the next main battlefield in the computer world.”
