音协武汉分会与市文化局、市艺术馆、工会、青年团于“六一”共同组织了一次规模盛大的“武汉人民歌唱社会主义建设总路线大会”。人群冒着中午炎热的太阳,从四面八方涌向体育馆,他们有的是来自武钢工地,有的是来自纺织厂、烟厂、学校、机关、街道和郊区的农业社员,他们今天既是观众,也是演员。四千多人挤得满满一堂,音专声乐系主任叶素利用会前的时间向到会的人教唱了林路校长连夜赶写出来的新作品:“总路线的光辉到处照”。
