华盛顿智库彼得森国际经济研究所所长亚当·波森近日表示,随着中国等发展中国家的崛起,美国在政治和经济上的相对实力正在从上世纪的统治地位逐渐衰落。同时,由于富裕国家发展放缓,在上世纪发展竞赛中落伍的国家与富裕国家的差距正在快速缩小,世界格局回到了没有一个国家可以单独在地缘和经济体量上主宰世界的“老常态”。
Adam Posen, director of the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington think tank, said recently that with the rise of developing countries such as China, the relative political and economic strength of the United States is gradually declining from that of the previous century.
