Polyfunctional ligands containing heteroatoms condensing with tin( Ⅳ ) compounds form bicycloaza-, stanna- and coca-complexes. The coordination number of tin rises from four to five or six. The single crystal structures of some typical complexes show that there are stable ligand bonds between nitrogen and tin atom in each case.
