香港近墨堂书法研究基金会藏有一卷刘珏草书《李白草书歌行》,全卷二百多字,以大草写就,卷长六米有余。作者刘珏是明前期苏州最重要的书画家、诗人、收藏家,他和杜琼、徐有贞、沈贞等人成为吴门书画流派的先驱。刘珏在艺术史上最为人称道的是他和折辈相交的“知己”沈周之间的交往,以及刘珏山水画风对于沈周的直接开启。然而这些声誉掩盖了刘珏作为书家的成就。刘珏现今存世的书作很少,多为大草,是其晚年变法的产物。刘珏早年书学赵孟,行楷书风未能脱离明初风行
Hong Kong Near Mo Tong Calligraphy Research Foundation has a volume of Liu Jue cursive “Li Bai Cursive Songs”, the whole volume of more than 200 words, written in large grass, scroll length of more than six meters. Author Jue Jue is a forerunner of the most important painting and calligraphy painters, poets and collectors in Suzhou. He and Du Qiong, Xu Youzhen and Shen Zhen became the pioneers of Wumen’s calligraphy and painting schools. Liu Jue is best known in the art history for his interaction with the “confidant” Shen Zhou and the direct opening of Shen Zhou by Liu Jue’s landscape painting style. However, these pretenses obscure Liu Jue’s achievements as a book writer. Liu Jue few surviving nowadays books, mostly grass, is the product of its later years change method.
