Chinese waterborne transport made significant achievement

The National Communications Work Meeting was held in Beijing on 16th January 2006. On the meeting, Mr Li Shenglin Chinese Minister of Communications pinpointed the fast and good development of transport in the 11th “five-year plan” period by standing on the new historical starting point. In his report, a series of exciting figures were used to demonstrate that China transport industry had achieved great development with waterborne transport having ex- perienced wonderful times.
