维吾尔族民间流传着一种艺术体裁——民间达斯坦,它由生动的语言、感人的故事组成,并在动听的音乐伴奏下演唱,而且以口耳相传的方式流传至今。近代民间达斯坦主要叙述维吾尔族历史上的真实事件和真实人物的勇敢活动,其中在塑造阳刚勇敢的男性英雄形象的同时,也塑造了不少宁愿牺牲、还依然保持贞操并且敢于控诉满清官员与地主恶霸罪行的女性形象。文章主要对近代达斯坦中的女性形象及其社会背景进行较系统的探讨。
