第11届国际植物保护会议于1987年10月5—9日在菲律宾马尼拉市的国际会议中心(PI-CC)召开。会议主题是发展中国家的植物保护工作。出席这次会议的有68个国家和地区的代表1502人(按名单统计),实际到会的约1000人。我国代表87人,其中包括台湾代表27人(按名单统计),大陆实到人数30人,其中包括我国在菲律宾国际水稻所(IRRI)工作的访问学者和攻读学位的6人。分别来自北京、四川、青海、湖南、上海、吉林、河南、江苏、湖北、福建、江西等省、市。
The 11th International Plant Protection Conference was held Oct. 5-9, 1987 at the International Convention Center (PI-CC) in Manila, Philippines. The theme of the conference is Plant Conservation in Developing Countries. There were 1502 representatives from 68 countries and regions (according to the list) who attended the meeting, and about 1,000 people actually attended the meeting. There are 87 delegates from China, including 27 from Taiwan (on the list) and 30 from mainland China. These include visiting scholars and 6 people studying for a degree at the IRRI in our country. They come from provinces and cities such as Beijing, Sichuan, Qinghai, Hunan, Shanghai, Jilin, Henan, Jiangsu, Hubei, Fujian and Jiangxi.
