近十年来,各种权威机构对全球的经济学研究机构和经济学家进行了卓有意义的排名。最近一次有影响意义的排名是Ecares(2000)通过检索索引了全球650多种经济学杂志的Econlit数据库,对全球经济学家在1994—1998年期间所作的学术贡献进行统计评分,并据此对经济学家及其所属的大学或经济学研究机构进行了排名。由于Econlit数据库索引的杂志组成了较为全面和权威的经济学文献,同时Ecares对各种影响排名的因素进行了综合考虑,尽量剔除了一些主观和随机因素带来的干扰。因此,Ecares所进行的排名结果为大多数经济学家所认可。
In the past decade, various authorities have made significant rankings in economic research institutions and economists around the world. The most influential ranking is Ecares (2000), which indexed the Econlit database of more than 650 economics journals worldwide by index and scored the global contributions of academicians from 1994 to 1998 by global economists Economists and their affiliated universities or economics research institutes rankings.
