2006年1月,应美国国家教育与经济研究中心邀请,北京市教育科学研究院副院长张铁道赴美国洛杉矶出席“全美教育年会”,并向会议作了关于中国基础教育改革及北京市开展的教师专业发展革新项目的报告。期间,还应邀列席了美国各州教育厅长参加的以提高学校绩效水平为主题的研讨会。本文根据美国教育代表团于 2005年9月来华考察的研究报告《中国教育及其对于美国教育的启示》摘译整理,还参考了美国国家教育与经济研究中心主任Marc Tucker博士2005年完成的关于中国教育考察报告的相关内容。国外同行对中国基础教育的认识,具有一定参考价值。
In January 2006, at the invitation of the U.S. National Center for Education and Economic Research, Zhang Lianyuan, vice president of the Beijing Academy of Educational Science, went to Los Angeles to attend the “National Education Conference” and made a speech on China’s basic education reform and Beijing Municipality.
