The sensors carried by the modern remote sensing platform mainly collect visible, near-infrared and far-infrared infrared reflected or emitted electromagnetic radiation energy from objects on the surface of the earth. The magnitude of the electromagnetic radiation energy of various features is determined by their spectral reflectance or emissivity. In order to analyze the hue, grayscale and digital features of various remote sensing images, it is necessary to fully understand the spectral characteristics of electromagnetic radiation of various kinds of ground objects.
