郭沫若对中国科学院的组建和发展做出的贡献为:一、不断壮大中科院的研究机构,二、设置四个学部,三、明确中科院的四项任务。在组建和发展中国科学院的过程中,郭沫若在人才建设方面的贡献为:一、千方百计挖回流失国外的中国科技人才,二、建立科技人才建设体系,三、“左”倾路线时期极力保护科技人才。
Guo Moruo’s contribution to the formation and development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is as follows: First, to continuously expand the research institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; secondly, to set up four departments; and thirdly, to define the four tasks of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In the course of setting up and developing the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guo Moruo’s contribution to the construction of talents is as follows: First, to do everything possible to reclaim the loss of Chinese scientists and technicians from abroad; secondly, to establish a system for building scientific and technological personnel; and thirdly, during the “Left” Protection of scientific and technological personnel.
