The macro-morphology of the cracked TA15 titanium alloy tube was observed to observe the macro-micro morphology of the cracked open fracture. The microstructure of the titanium alloy was studied and the failure mode of the titanium alloy pipe was determined. The cracking reason was also analyzed. The results show that the surface cracks on the TA15 titanium alloy tube are caused by the combined effect of the local short-time over-temperature on the inner surface and the residual tensile stress on the surface. As the formation of the main speckle and thermal processing of the inner surface of the friction heat, so the design of parts should consider the general principles of titanium alloy parts design.
