This paper, for the first time, systematically studied the effect of cations on the pectinase activity produced by Pythium aphanidermatum, a cucumber seedling growth stage, from the perspective of the host-parasite relationship. The content of Ca 2+ in the cell wall of the hypocotyls was very high, Increase, its content also increased regularly. The change of Ca 2+ content in cell wall is closely related to the pectinase activity of the hypocotyl resistant bacteria. Different cations exert a significant influence on the PG activity produced by bacteria in and outside the host, and vary with the reaction time. PG in the host and in vitro synthesis of pathogens on the sensitivity of different degrees. Low concentrations of Ca ~ (2+) activated PG, and high concentrations of Ca ~ (2+) inhibited PG activity. Na ~ + over a certain concentration of inhibit the activity of PG. PGTE is more sensitive to Ca 2+ inhibition than PMTE.
