1947年,内蒙古自治区成立以后,档案工作在各级机关中开始建立。蒙文档案是自治区档案的重要组成部分,蒙古民族有着悠久的历史,古老的文化,早在七百多年前就有了蒙古文字,并形成了大量的档案。但是,保留下来的民族历史档案数量不多,而且越是历史久远的,其数量就越少。据统计,建国前的历史档案中,蒙古文字档案只有两万卷左右。
After the founding of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 1947, the file work began to be established at all levels of government. Mongolian archives are an important part of the archives of the autonomous region. The Mongolian nation has a long history and ancient culture. As early as 700 years ago, Mongolian characters were formed and a large number of archives were formed. However, there are not many ethnic historical archives that have been preserved, and the more history there are, the less they will be. According to statistics, in the historical archives before the founding of the People’s Republic of China, there were only about 20,000 volumes of Mongolian text files.
